Biography

blue underline

I started climbing around age 13. Competing looked interesting so I tried it. I really liked it. My first goal was to get to divisionals in Utah, which I did. That made me feel really good. I competed for The Wall Climbing gym and then later the Mesa Rim team in San Diego. I have climbed several seasons at The Tramway above Palm Springs, CA and I have sent many V7 and V8 boulders there. The Tramway is my favorite place because I love the mountains and there are a lot of boulder problems to choose from. I have also climbed at Joshua Tree, Bishop, Mount Woodson, Red Rock and Black Mountain. In 2019 I appeared in the documentary Ascent. I did this documentary to teach people to believe that individuals with Autism can accomplish difficult things. I am proud that Ascent was shown in numerous film festivals and won a lot of awards so that more people learned about our message.
