Biography

blue underline

I am an Indigenous woman born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where I was first exposed to the sport of rock climbing. However, it wasn't until late 2017, after I'd moved to Cincinnati, that I began dedicating myself to the sport. At that point, I was already a mom, facing multiple barriers, but the climbing community in my city rallied around me and my family and we felt a sense of belonging and inclusivity. It was precisely this that led me to give back to the climbing community. In 2019, I joined the Board of Directors with the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition and specifically lead initiatives in education, DEI, and outreach. I am also a lifelong projector and currently a weekend warrior, which motivates me to train multiple days of the week, but has also led me to send V7, project V8, and V9, and work on a number of 5.12s. I'm a wife and a mom, a coffee lover and a plant collector, and I'm just here to change the world a little at a time.
