Biography
I’m a Mountain Guide based in Washington-state and also work in Colorado and Alaska. The mountains are where I feel most centered and my goal as a guide is to equip my community with tools to make smart decisions and build confidence. In addition to guiding, I spend time volunteering as a Fundraising Coordinator for Climbers of Color, a non-profit on a mission to increase access to climbing for the BIPOC community. I do this all for my family, and while my family certainly didn’t immigrate from the Philippines in hopes I would become a Mountain Guide, I like to think they’re proud of me otherwise. When I’m not enjoying a long glacier slog or an epic alpine climb, you can find me trying hard in a gym or dancing to early 2000s R&B music.

the SCARPA and Mountain Hardwear Athlete teams with accomplished athletes from historically marginalized
communities aspiring to take their sport or career to the next level. The mission of this program is to connect
mentors with mentees focused on the sports we serve to provide participants with opportunities for personal,
athletic and career development with the goal of helping to create a more inclusive and diverse community of
