For the telemark skier who wants race-day power and big-mountain control, the TX Comp delivers. Whether you’re railing wide arcs in deep powder or pinning gates in the resort, this boot gives you the precision you crave and the mobility you need. The anatomical 102mm last and shortened sole length lock your heel while keeping your stance dynamic. A Pebax® Rnew® shell/cuff and high-density Intuition® Pro Flex TK Comp liner bring cold-weather resilience and fined-tuned performance. The Speedlock MLT ski/walk mechanism opens to a full 62-degree range of motion for uphill efficiency, yet locks solid for the descent.

Compatible with both NTN and Tele-Tech bindings, the TX Comp bridges modern touring freedom with hard-charging downhill authority.

  • Pebax® Rnew® shell and cuff deliver a lightweight feel with powerful rigidity that stays consistent in cold mountain conditions.
  • Speedlock MLT walk mechanism provides a 62-degree range of motion for a natural uphill stride and a solid, locked-in feel on the descent.
  • Intuition® Pro Flex TK Comp liner molds to your foot for a precise, heat-customized fit and lasting comfort through long ski days.
  • Vibram® EVO LT outsole and shorter boot sole length improve step-in ease, traction, and control across mixed terrain.
  • A three-buckle closure combined with the Booster® Active Power Strap creates a race-inspired fit that maximizes energy transfer and downhill power.

With the TX Comp you can turn every skin-track and slope into your next proving ground.

SCARPA Ski Sizing Chart

All SCARPA ski boots use Mondo sizing.

SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size.

Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

    It was worth the wait

This is the boot we have all been dreaming of. Stiff, powerful, light and walks like a dream. The bellows match the stiffness of the cuff like peanut butter and jelly. This boot will drive the biggest of skis, let you drop as big of cliffs as you can muster and go literally wherever you can dream up. Warm, comfortable and oozing with performance.

    stiff charger

The boot boasts a wicked stiff cuff which I am excited for it to break in a bit more, and a pretty stiff bellows. Fit is wide and roomy. Liner is nice and comfortable. Walk mode is a dream compared to the other tele boots I have had; it actually does something!

This is a $940 boot. That is a price as stiff as the cuff of this boot out of the box. For that I am perplexed by:

    1. walk mode screws that need tightening after several days of skiing (I would think that for this price, our boot manufacturers would have started applying loctite in the factory. alas, they have not)

    2. a sole that desperately holds onto snow, making it very challenging to get into my specific bindings without time consuming fiddling.

    3. a walk mode that seemingly can come undone by leaning forward in the boot (which is what one does when skiing in a boot.. any kind of skiing... all day long)

    4. an ankle strap that may be replaceable, but a plastic ratchet strap?! I'd think we could have some form of metal mechanism that likely wouldn't need to be replaced for over $900.

Best boot I’ve ever put on, but ….

This is the nicest boot I’ve put on my foot, period. It definitely has less volume than the older gen TX Pro and T1 which is perfect for me. I was always swimming in those boots. This boot is super stiff. I was worried it might be too much for me, but the bellows broke in super nicely. Now I feel like the bellows are perfect while also having a ton of stiffness in the rest of the boot, 10/10. Jumping, landing, and going fast af with this boot on is an absolute treat. All that said, there are some issues that I’ve heard the new TX Pro and Comp both have that absolutely should’ve been fixed in R&D, especially considering this boot is $1000. We'll start with the small problem and work up. I wish there was a side to side canting option, oh well, not a huge deal. The thing that really peeves me is the ski mode catch and the lever. You can adjust where the lever sits to adjust your forward lean. Cool in theory, but if you adjust from the stock position, the lever will slip right out of the catch with almost no force. In the non stock positions, I can flex my foot in the boot and the lever will slide right out of the catch thus putting me in walk mode. Mind you, this is with my foot off the ground, so I’m not even loading the boot with body weight. Not cool. With how good the ROM is in walk mode, if this happens while skiing you’re gonna eat s***. And with how baller these boots are otherwise, I can tell you it’s going to be a high speed crash. I will also note that the lever has…

    Txcomp

Switched from the pros and love these. Just as comfortable but more stiffness and better performance for resort skiing
