The SCARPA Ribelle® Run Kalibra G takes the best parts of our most technical running shoe and combines them with a few mountaineering-boot-inspired features for an all-weather, all-terrain juggernaut of a trail runner. With the same profile as the Ribelle® Run, the Kalibra G can handle precise footwork in technical terrain without batting an eye. The specially designed sole with the ultra-sticky PRESA rubber offers reliable traction, no matter what condition the trail is in. Because you'll be headed out in a variety of conditions, we included a Polartec® Windbloc™ stretch gaiter to keep mud and snow out, as well as a BOA® Fit System that delivers micro-adjustable, precision fit engineered to perform in the toughest conditions. 4mm of drop gives just enough padding to cushion the occasional heel strike, while still giving you that low drop heel you want for a more natural stride.

    Ribelle run Kalibra

Boa fit system is a good match for this shoe. Progressive cushioning. Fit was accurate; I normally wear US size 9, and the 42 fit fine with thin socks.

    Trail Running Meets Space-Age Tech

Slipping into these feels less like putting on shoes and more like suiting up for a mission—and honestly, I love it. The Polartec Windbloc gaiter and BOA Fit System make for a locked-in, second-skin fit that keeps mud, snow, and whatever else the trail throws at you on the outside where it belongs.

They’ve got a roomy toe box, which is a huge plus if you’ve got wider feet like me, and despite the snug fit, they never feel restrictive. Traction? Absolutely solid. The PRESA rubber outsole grips everything—wet rock, loose dirt, you name it—without hesitation.

Now, they’re not a quick on-and-off kind of shoe. The BOA system, zip, and Velcro closure take a bit of fiddling, but that’s the price for the weatherproof, dialed-in performance they deliver. Honestly, once they’re on, they’re not going anywhere—and neither are you.

They look sharp, futuristic, and just plain cool. If you want a trail runner that feels built for any terrain, any condition, and maybe even another planet, this is it.

    Excellent!

I was looking for something lightweight for winter use on snow-covered trails and this was the perfect ticket. Plenty warm enough for long hikes and the gaiter does a superb job of keeping debris and snow out, plus providing warmth for the ankle. Super happy with these.

Favorite cold weather approach shoe for cragging and bouldering

Great fit and mobility, and impressively warm. I love how easily they go off and on while climbing outside in cooler/colder weather. I've never had a problem with the BOA and strings, nor with the zipper. I highly recommend them

Scarpa Ribelle Run Kalibra G is my go-to shoe for winter training

The Scarpa Ribelle Run Kalibra G is my go-to shoe for winter training in Colorado and Utah. I also used on it during a 10-day trek to Everest and Makalu base camps before climbing the peaks. These shoes kept my feet warm in extreme conditions—whether it was muddy, cold, wet, or snowing. The integrated gaiter with a zip closure was especially effective in preventing snow from entering the shoes, keeping my feet dry and comfortable. I've worn them for nearly two years, and they have consistently held up well in harsh environments. Super reliable shoes!
