HELIX WOMEN'S (FALL 2025)

The Helix really challenges the idea that climbing shoes are suppose to be uncomfortable if they fit right. The Helix fits like a sneaker and feels good enough for all day wear (literally). I personally prefer softer, more flexible shoes like the Furia Air but for the comfort the Helix provides it's become my go-to for 99.99% of my climbing.

I wear a 9.5 in most shoes and went with a 43. Fit is amazing.

After a near 20 year hiatus from climbing, I am back. You’re welcome. Apology accepted! Heavier now but more focused and patient. Stronger in many ways but I have pain in so many different places now. Before these, a couple weeks ago, I tried the Scarpa Generator around the house on carpet and found that I will go a little bigger for my comfort level. Sized up and got these blue suede shoes that make my foot skin look diseased after wearing but they are very comfortable and that was what I was going for. Also they remind me of an old shoe I had decades ago called the Kaukulator. Whatever…. If one has the funding, I would suggest starting out with comfortable shoes like these and progressing down towards the foot binding that many of us used to love to hate. These babys when sized appropriately can put a person into that lovely hell, but for me, sized a little bigger than my usual American size are just right. I think I got free return shipping on that last pair. Id say that if you’re looking for a decent comfortable shoe that doesn’t require you to remove them for relief every chance you get them consider these lovelies. And remember kids, it’s all about fit. The best shoe in the world, ill fitted is not worth the money. A 1000$ knife when dull is worthless in a pinch.
