Well, it's winter here so I'm spending much more time in ski boots than hiking boots. That said I took them out for a few short hikes. I usually get Scarp boots in a 46.5 but the 46 fits fine. They were comfortable and stayed nice and dry on dirt roads that were quite sloppy from snow melt.
I'm confident they are going to work as well as my other Scarpa boots.

I have been a fan of the Rush, since the first pair I purchase in 2021. I prefer the non-gtx version because of the breathability, but was stoked when a nubuck version came. What I had liked most about the Rush was the close running shoe like feel. The nubuck version feels higher volume and bigger on my foot. The cut around the ankle also seems a little higher and rubs a bit. wearing a thicker sock helps fill some of the volume but does not help with the rubbing.

Hiked numerous peaks and mountains in Colorado and the full TMB during the summer. Went through two pairs of Rush 2 and about to purchase a third one; one of the best shoes I’ve ever worn. Highly recommended!
