The latest addition to the successful Rush family, the Rush Trk GTX dials up the support and protection a notch with a suede leather upper and a rubber toe rand, backed by GORE-TEX® for guaranteed protection from the elements. The upper balances the light and agile feel of a trail running shoe with the support and protection you expect from a hiking boot. Underfoot support, protection and traction come courtesy of the exclusive PRESA® outsole with Interactive Kinetic System (IKS) Technology. The IKS system features impact absorbing internal domes placed in key ground contact areas that function as mechanical shock absorbers, while out SuperGum rubber compound provides secure grip on whatever terrain you encounter. The Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame supports the arch and wraps the heel on both sides, providing terrific rearfoot stability and torsion control so you can confidently tackle whatever the trail has in store.

Very early report but the fit is great as are my Scarpa Tele Boots. Love the euro sizing so I was able to get the US equivalent of 12-1/2 since most manufacturers don’t sell 1/2 sizes over size 12.

I have difficult feet to please... I used these for a 9-day trek through the English Lake District and then a further 9-day trek through the Yorkshire Dales. They are the most comfortable boots I have worn for extended use. They are cushioned wonderfully and very supportive. I now have 3 pairs... :-)

I walk easier trails, like rail trails and easy single track. I used Vasque for years, but they changed their last to a softer style which hurt my feet and they also shortened the tongue on their boots so that the lacing slid over the top and was impossible to keep snug. The SCARPA fit great (out on the box a 43 was dead on) and they wear better than the Vasques, the stiffer sole works great for higher mileage and the laces stay put and tight.

So far I'm loving the Rush TRK GTX. I bought these boots for when I want more support and weather protection than my Scarpa Spin Infinity shoes. The Rush TRK GTX are more comfortable than I expected and didn't require much break-in. They are lightweight yet very durable. The boot has performed great on my first couple of winter hikes in the Wasatch mountains. I really like the shape of Scarpa footwear. My feet changed shape a year ago and have less arch. I've struggled to find boots that comfortably fit me and Scarpa has now become my go to brand. I was pleasantly surprised to find the boot is stiff enough to work well with strap-on style crampons. As a SAR volunteer I like a boot I can comfortably hike in for many miles and then strap on crampons when needed.
