The Perwanger Nepal suede leather upper is engineered for durable water repellency and breathability, while the GORE-TEX® ePE lining adds waterproof protection for wet rock, spring snowmelt, and shoulder-season weather. Underfoot, the Bascule Adaptive System (BAS) helps the outsole lugs adapt to uneven ground for better contact and control, and the Vibram® BAS Precision outsole delivers secure traction when the terrain gets technical. These updated zodiac's fix my feet like they were custom made. Very happy. Nice wideish toebox and the great fitting heal I expect from Scarpa. Runs true to size for all Scarpa boots

Still breaking these in, but they have the potential to be the best boots I've ever had.
The fit and support are perfect and the dual zone lacing gives me that extra little adaptability from day to day.
I normally wear a 45e in a shoe, so got these in a 45.5 and they work well in a midweight sock.
Like them so much I also got a 46 which work well with a thicker or doubled up sock for colder envs.
